Who is responsible for your data
This website is run by DiaNoche. For any question about your personal data, write to service@dianoche.it.
Contact form
When you send the contact form we receive your name, your email address, the text of your request, the product you came from if any, and any files you attach. The request is registered under a number and reaches us by email with the files attached; we send you a confirmation email with the same number and a copy of what you wrote.
We use them only to answer you, to send the information, samples or quotation you asked for, and to follow up on that request. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a possible contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (art. 6(1)(f)).
To protect the form from automated programs we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person is sending it from technical browser and connection data, without advertising cookies; we also limit how many requests one connection can send in a short time. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.
Visit statistics
To know how many people visit the site and which pages they read, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It uses no cookies and no local browser storage, and it does not identify visitors by their IP address or browser details. It collects aggregate data: pages viewed, referring site, country, browser and device type, and loading speed. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used and keeping it fast.
Technical data
To deliver the site and protect it from abuse, our hosting provider Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser details in its server logs. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running the site securely.
Datasheets and IES and LDT files can be downloaded freely: we do not ask for any data.
Cookies and browser storage
The site sets one cookie, dn-lang, which remembers whether you chose English or Italian; it lasts 12 months. It also keeps two notes in your browser’s session storage for its animations (whether the opening animation has already played, and the transition from a product to its page); they are cleared when you close the tab. These are technical and need no consent. We use no advertising, profiling or third-party tracking cookies.
Who processes data for us
Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting, security, the request log, form protection and visit statistics), with servers worldwide, including the United States; transfers rely on the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and on standard contractual clauses.
Netim (email service for the dianoche.it domain, which delivers the requests and the confirmations), in France, in the European Union.
How long we keep data
Requests (in the site’s request log and in our email) are kept for as long as needed to handle them and any business relationship that follows, then deleted, unless the law requires us to keep them longer (for example for tax purposes). Visit statistics are aggregate and not linked to you.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of processing and portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest (GDPR arts. 15-22). Write to service@dianoche.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
